Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIIT D&M) Kancheepuram is an academic research center for excellence established by MHRD, Govt. of India in 2007 to produce a new generation of technology leaders with inter-disciplinary knowledge and social responsibility.

  With a vision to become the premier institution in design and manufacturing that would create and develop new generation of engineers and technologists with the ability and mindset to lead Indian industries in globally competitive economic environment, IIITDM aims at producing students with strong foot hold in the design market to propel the nation’s growth.

  The institute is a home to students from various parts of the country and is a buzz with youthful and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

  Art,Science and Technology are combined and focus is upon the overall development of the students as independent individuals. Students actively participate, coordinate and organize a lot of intra and inter college level competitions.

Come to SAMGATHA 2017, the annual techno-cultural celebration of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing- Kancheepuram.

  Since its humble beginning in 2011 as an intra-college fest, Samgatha has expanded tremendously to what it is a today, an inter-college techno-cultural fest consisting of over 40 events spread across three phenomenal days.

   Samgatha has experienced several extraordinary moments, some epics wins, mind boggling challenges, inspiring themes like ‘Save Women, Save India’ , ‘Swachh Bharat’ and ‘Make In India’ and witnessed the presence of prominent personalities in the world of Technology and Fine Arts, like King Siddharth ,Poly Varghese and Drums Murali.This year, Samgatha returns with the theme ‘Celebrating Humble Beginnings’ which aims at promoting creativity and innovation amongst the participants along with the social cause of ‘Educating Rural India’.
